  1. Act 48
    1. Fest/Festival Host Directors: Please remember to hand in all paperwork to Johanna Steinbacher as soon as possible.  This will ensure that I can get it to the state office well in advance of your fest/festival.
    2. This is a reminder that in order to receive Act 48 credit you must sign the roster with your PDE professional number.  You will not receive Act 48 credit without this.  Also, please be sure you are present for all hours for which you are receiving Act 48 credit.
  1. Membership:
    1. IMPORTANT: If you know of any music teacher teaching in your district who is not a member of PMEA, please encourage him/her to join.  There are many valuable resources and connections to be gained from membership in PMEA! 
  1. In-service Opportunities – Reaching ALL Members and Music Educators in PMEA District 4!
    1. Looking for more ways to reach the entire membership of PMEA District 4.  What are our needs?  How can we help?
    2. Jeff Puhala is interested in beginning a State College based Orff Chapter.  This would offer professional development opportunities in the area as well as possible Orff Certification programs.  Contact Jeff at jpuhala23@yahoo.com if you or any of your colleagues are interested. 
    3. Brian Stacey – contact about SAS Framework, possible professional development opportunity
